SEUMANUTAFA - Family Home

Below is a map featuring the Seumanutafa Loligi family homestead. This is the family site where Seumanutafa Loligi and Simeanamulu raised their children and sheltered many other young families in addition to others who married into the family. At a time when many roads of Samoa had not been paved many village chiefs and accompanying travellers stayed overnight after family meetings, funerals or other business before returning to their own villages. There are plans now by many grandchildren of Seumanutafa Loligi and Simeanamulu to renovate the old family homestead so that future descendants will have a point of reference to return to and lodgings when visiting Samoa.
